The Hoste Arms – a much-loved Norfolk icon in beautiful Burnham Market – is on the hunt for a talented Sous Chef to bring flavour, flair, and fire to our bustling kitchen. Set in one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages, we’re all about locally-sourced ingredients, big flavours, seasonal menus, and proper pub classics done right. As part of the Young’s Pubs family, we mix great food with warm vibes – and we’re building a kitchen crew that loves the buzz as much as the brunch.
What’s the gig?
- As Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to our Head Chef – leading shifts, keeping cool under pressure, and helping to shape menus that make our guests want to come back for seconds (and thirds).
- Running the kitchen like a boss when the Head Chef’s away.
- Cooking up delicious, fresh, seasonal dishes.
- Training and motivating junior chefs (they’ll look up to you – literally and professionally).
- Keeping everything safe, clean, and fully stocked.
- Bringing energy and good vibes to the heart of the pub.
What you’ll bring:
