Salary: £16,800 p.a. (FTE £28,000) Main Duties Responsibilities The IT team support the Hospice by delivering reliable, responsive technical services to staff, our retail shops, and the systems that help care for patients. This junior role is ideal for someone at the start of their IT career who is keen to learn, develop practical skills, and provide friendly day-to-day support in a small hospice environment. The Junior IT Assistant will help provide hands-on support across the Hospice, assisting with everyday technical queries, setting up equipment, supporting Microsoft 365 users, and learning how to maintain the Hospice’s IT systems under the guidance of the Head of IT Systems. You will be responsible for: Providing first-line technical support to staff and volunteers, helping to resolve common hardware, software, printer, and account issues. Supporting users with Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office applications. Assisting with the setup, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, phones, printers, and other IT equipment.
