We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our new opening, The Horses! Opening in September 2026, The Horses will bring a fresh hospitality offering to Farringdon. Set within a building that has long been part of the local community, the venue will combine a pub atmosphere with exceptional dining, quality drinks, and attentive service across multiple floors. We are building a team that prides itself on delivering authentic hospitality, who are collaborative and create a genuinely warm, welcoming environment for every guest. Salary – £12.71 per hour + service charge

What you'll be doing as a Commis Chef:
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and service across various sections.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times.
- Learn and develop your culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and ensuring ingredients are handled correctly.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods, contributing to a smooth-running kitchen operation.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
