The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Chief Manager (Loss Prevention & Training), the appointee will perform the following duties:

  • To assist in formulating and reviewing the health & safety standards, procedures, policies and manuals and monitor their implementation and related programmes.
  • To conduct assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations and root cause analyses in relation to safety and risk for workplaces and work activities.
  • To provide training and organize promotion activities for employees and contractors on health and safety standards and best practices.
  • To advise on any new and upcoming health and safety legislations and enable compliance with the legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ work experience, preferably 1 year's working experience in public utilities.
  • Good knowledge in local regulations, standards, codes of practice and EMSD’s Code of Practice for Electricity (Wiring) Regulations.
  • A Registered Safety Officer is a must.
  • Good computer skills of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Chinese typing.
  • Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicles.

Working Location

Ap Lei Chau, transportation will be provided.
