Responsibilities

  • Ensure an efficient and effective day‑to‑day work routine and proper month‑end closing
  • Prepare accurate financial statement reports
  • Audit and post revenues daily
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure timely payment
  • Prepare all month‑end entries
  • Review results with the Director of Finance and investigate variances to the budget
  • Prepare special statistical reports required by local management, government authorities and area office
  • Maintain an organized, up‑to‑date system for all pertinent financial records
  • Assist Heads of Departments by providing relevant financial data for decision‑making
  • Hire, develop, motivate, supervise and coach department employees, fostering a culture in compliance with the mission, vision and values of HSH

Qualifications

  • Degree in hospitality, business or accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a comparable capacity
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience with a focus on talent selection, nurturing and culture building
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, purchasing and accounting systems
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting control and financial management processes
  • Very strong analytical, financial and communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Experience working within the United Kingdom and in the pre‑opening of a luxury hotel is highly preferred
