The Home for Little Wanderers, Southeast Campus/The COVE School for youth and adolescents located in Plymouth, MA, is seeking to hire a Seasonal Lifeguard for the summer months. This is a part-time position requiring flexibility in hours.
Qualifications:
- Lifeguard certification required
- First Aid AED/CPR
- MA State certifications required
- Must be 18 years or older
Duties:
- Monitor the area of surveillance to ensure youth safety and proper behaviour according to rules.
- Respond in emergency situations, providing rescue and first aid assistance up to training level until medical personnel arrive.
- Inspect the aquatic facility for unsafe conditions and cleanliness, reporting hazards to the supervisor.
- Enforce rules consistently and fairly.
- Complete incident reports and other documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with Direct Care Staff to support behaviour management of youth.
- Maintain swim level records of all youth and utilise these levels to ensure safety.
- Familiarise with established program policies and procedures.

- Maintain a professional appearance.
