Description
Master\’s Level Clinicians are an integral part of our well-established program of social workers, psychologists, family therapists, special educators, and allied health professionals serving adolescents and their families at the Wediko School in rural Windsor, NH. We are seeking a full-time Family and Adolescent Clinician for the campus. The clinician will have a caseload of up to 10 adolescents with significant social, emotional and behavioral challenges.
How You\’ll Be Making A Difference
Clinicians will be responsible for:
- Providing weekly individual therapy and family therapy sessions for a case load of adolescent students.
- Student case management (including emails, writing treatment plans, documenting therapy sessions with clinical notes, DHHS required paperwork, etc.)
- Maintaining contact with parents, school districts, educational consultants and other external team members.
- Attending and participating in program-wide meetings that include weekly treatment team meetings, medication meetings and staff briefings.
- Participating in weekly clinical group supervision, required trainings, program development meetings and weekly individual supervision.
- Planning for, and facilitating group therapy modules
- Modeling appropriate interactions between staff and students in a variety of situations.
- Facilitating relationship repair work and processing for students on caseload.
- Intervening during a crisis including emergency family meetings, team meetings, hospitalization, milieu interventions.
- Providing on-going administrative functions for caseload students involving: Coordinating visits with outside agency personnel such as DHHS case workers and probation officers e.g., meetings, phone calls, virtual appointments with outside providers.
- Networking with other team members, coordinating team mental health treatment approaches within the program to ensure continuity of services; this includes the Wediko leadership team.
- Discussing critical incidents with clients and respective teams in a timely manner.
- Coordinating transportation for students on an as-needed basis for appointments and home visits.

- Implementing and coordinating transition planning and providing aftercare services.
Additional Functions responsible for:
- Performing any other duties as required by the Clinical Director.
- Maintaining case files, which include Treatment Plans, weekly clinical notes, clinical progress reports, court reports and discharge summaries in compliance with time deadlines.
Abilities Required: The position requires the ability to walk the rugged terrain of the Wediko Hillsborough, NH campus, an active wooded setting. The ability to bend, hold and lift is also required as indicated by CPI/ TCI behavioral management techniques.
