About the team: The IMA Media team helps clients connect their advertising to the target audience through paid media channels. We start by gathering audience insight regarding who they are, what they look like, and what media they consume. Using this information, we develop media plans through our bespoke planning process, selecting media based on its ability to resonate with and deliver to the audience, always ensuring relevance in terms of context and mindset.
Summary of the role: The Digital Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts, using high levels of initiative to deliver effective media planning, implementation, and optimization across digital channels. This role requires close integration with the wider media team (paid, owned, earned) and other IMA services such as strategy, creative, and digital.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating media solutions and plans based on client needs and objectives by researching, planning, and buying media across digital channels, while maintaining awareness of traditional channels and their impact on digital media, with support from senior team members as needed.
- Coordinating media planning insights and strategy development, managing the gathering of audience insights from research or data, and advising on industry challenges such as attention, cookies, GDPR, etc.
- Providing senior-level support on client accounts, building strong relationships and establishing trust as a media advisor.
- Supporting the construction of pitch documents and client proposals.
- Managing relationships with media owners, negotiating rates, timings, and placements on behalf of clients.
