We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our esteemed healthcare team, committed to providing exceptional mental health services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and creating tailored treatment plans for adult patients.

Your expertise will guide the delivery of evidence-based therapies, medication management, and collaborative care, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of support. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our mental health programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid medical degree, completion of residency in psychiatry, and board certification in adult psychiatry. A strong background in both inpatient and outpatient settings is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

This is a full time (10 PA) replacement Consultant post working on a female acute inpatient ward (Beech Ward), based at Sherwood Oaks. This is a permanent post.
