This spring, The Holt Exeter is launching a brand-newcasual dining restaurant in the heart of Exeter. Were looking for atalented Head Chef to take the reins from day one, shaping our menu, building a high-performing kitchen team, and putting The Holt Exeter on the map as a go-to dining destination.

If youre a passionate chef with a vision forcreative, seasonal cooking , and the skills tolead and inspire a team , this is your chance to make your mark.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Overseeall aspects of kitchen operations , ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
  • Ensurecompliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
  • Take ownership ofmenu development , food production, and inventory management.
  • Train and mentor team members,helping them develop and grow .
  • Work closely with restaurant management tooptimise service, costs, and efficiency .
