We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join the team at The Holmbush Inn, St Austell. We are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a "can do" attitude and hands-on approach to assist our Head/Senior Sous Chef.
- Proven experience in a previous Junior Sous/Chef de Partie position.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive team player.
- Ability to assist in menu planning using fresh and local ingredients.
- Effective stock control and ability to order efficiently.
- Calm and confident when catering for large numbers.
- Assist in the running of the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence.
- Steady employment record with excellent checkable references.
Own transport is essential as there is no live-in accommodation provided.
