The Hollies Residential Care Home is a small 20 bedded residential care home in Southport and is looking to recruit an experienced Carer to join our friendly team.

Due to The Hollies being a small, privately owned home, unfortunately, we will not be able to sponsor any overseas applications.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 months experience of working in a residential home and must hold a Skills for Care Certificate or an NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to study for one of these. As a member of our team, you must be able to maintain high standards of care and support to our residents at all times, following their individual plan of care.
We are looking to recruit someone who is flexible to work the weekend shifts - Saturday and Sunday and must also be available to work in the week, covering other shifts on a rota basis. The shift patterns are 8-2, 8-5, 2-10, 5-10. Our working week starts on a Saturday.
The hours that are available are both part-time and full-time, which are between 25 to 40 hours a week on a rota basis. Full time hours are 36 to 40 hours a week.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience using Electronic Care Planning - (PCS) to update our resident\'s care throughout the day, ensuring that our resident\'s needs are met and that they are kept safe, carry out laundry duties and any light cleaning duties. Follow all PPE guidelines.
Knowledge of CQC regulations - KLOE - Caring, Safety, Effectiveness, Responsive, Well Led.
Excellent communication skills will be required for this position.
