Are you a positive, hands‑on supervisor who loves great food, retail, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We’re looking for a Farm Shop & Front of House Supervisor to join our team at Hollies Farm Store, located on the High Street in the heart of the vibrant village of Tarporley. This is a varied, fast‑paced role where your energy, leadership, and proactive approach will help maintain our high standards in both the farm shop and front of house.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting the team on shift, providing clear direction and stepping up as senior contact when needed
  • Helping plan rotas and ensuring smooth staffing, including holiday and sickness cover
  • Delivering great, warm customer service and handling enquiries or feedback confidently
  • Overseeing food and drink preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, allergen compliance, and hygiene standards
  • Supporting barista duties and training team members
  • Keeping the shop floor well‑stocked, organised, and visually appealing, with strong merchandising standards
  • Supervising EPOS transactions, cash handling, and till reconciliation
  • Supporting improvements to the EPOS system to enhance retail efficiency
  • Overseeing stock rotation, minimising waste, and assisting with stock takes to maintain accurate inventory
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety (HACCP) and operational procedures
  • Supporting smooth front of house service, including opening and closing procedures
  • Collaborating with managers and colleagues to maintain a positive, motivated, and professional team culture
