The Hollies Farm Shop is an award-winning destination in Cheshire, celebrated for our fresh, locally sourced produce, artisan products, and bustling restaurant. Our takeaway kitchen serves high-quality breakfast, brunch, lunch, sandwiches, and freshly made cakes to a loyal and growing customer base.

This is a full-time position within our busy takeaway kitchen.

We’re seeking an organised, enthusiastic, and passionate chef who:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Demonstrates excellent organisation and time management
  • Is punctual, reliable, and flexible

  • Works well as part of a supportive team
  • Has experience in a busy kitchen or takeaway (preferred but not essential)
  • Is comfortable working weekends and peak seasonal periods

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook fresh, made-to-order food to our high standards
  • Adhere strictly to allergen procedures and prevent cross-contamination
  • Maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy service
  • Handle any customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
  • Fulfil Opening & Closing responsibilities – Assist with opening/closing the kitchen, including cleaning and equipment shutdown
  • Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
  • Monitor stock levels, rotate products (fridge and freezer), and minimise waste
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Work collaboratively with our friendly and hardworking team
  • Work seamlessly with other departments to ensure smooth overall operations
  • Contribute energy, creativity, and positivity to the workplace
