Butchery Assistant Location: Little Budworth | Contract: Full Time (45 hours)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting butchers with trimming, cutting, and packaging meat.
  • Producing sausages, burgers, meatballs, and other high‑quality products.
  • Maintaining the multideck fridge to ensure excellent presentation and stock rotation.
  • Greeting customers, taking orders, and offering cooking advice.
  • Creating an attractive multideck display, restocking shelves, and labelling products accurately.
  • Supporting colleagues across the department when needed.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Cleaning and sanitising work areas in line with food safety regulations.
  • Learning and following food hygiene and health & safety procedures (training provided).

Inventory & Stock

  • Rotating stock, recording waste, and completing internal transfers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
