We are recruiting for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join a professional kitchen team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food, enjoys working across all sections of the kitchen and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, presentation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and portion control.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your assigned kitchen section, including stock ordering and stock control.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and health and safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with allergen legislation.
- Support the development of menus and contribute ideas to improve products and services.
- Supervise, support and train junior chefs while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery, with Level 3 being advantageous.
- Has previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
