Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Early Start (5:45am) £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Overtime

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Grounds Maintenance Technician to guide a small team delivering high-quality grounds services across a variety of client sites. This isn’t a desk job — you’ll be out in the field, setting standards, motivating your team, and making sure every site looks its absolute best.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and organising a small team to deliver daily maintenance tasks efficiently
  • Working alongside your team — setting the standard through your own work
  • Maintaining landscapes to a high professional finish, including:
  • Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and lawn care
  • Hedge cutting, pruning, and weed control
  • Litter picking and general site upkeep
  • Operating machinery, including triple gang mowers
  • Carrying out sports line marking when required
  • Ensuring all work meets safety standards and company expectations
  • Building positive, professional relationships with clients
  • Managing tools, equipment, and daily paperwork accurately
  • What We’re Looking For

    • Full UK driving licence (essential)
    • Trailer experience (required)
    • PA1 & PA6 certifications (required)
    • Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
    • Confidence operating triple gang mowers
    • Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
    • A proactive, reliable attitude with strong attention to detail
    • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
