We are searching for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and highly respected operation maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and plant equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping essential equipment running safely and efficiently. What You Will Be Doing:
- Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles and plant
- Diagnosing faults and completing preventative maintenance
- Ensuring vehicles meet Department of Transport standards
- Reducing equipment downtime and supporting fleet performance
- Completing service reports and raising work orders using fleet systems
- Ordering parts and managing maintenance records digitally
- Working safely and always following all Health & Safety procedures
What We Are Looking For:
- City & Guilds qualification in Light & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
- Proven experience working on commercial vehicles and plant machinery
- Good computer literacy and experience with fleet management systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to make practical, cost-effective maintenance decisions
- A strong understanding of safety and environmental responsibilities
