We are looking for an inspiring and compassionate Teacher in Charge to lead their Primary Provision, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with SEND, SEMH needs, and barriers to learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or middle leader who is passionate about inclusion, trauma-informed practice, and making a genuine difference to vulnerable young people.

The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the Primary Provision
  • Support and develop a dedicated staff team
  • Deliver and model outstanding inclusive teaching practice
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
  • Help shape an ambitious and nurturing curriculum
  • Work closely with families, schools, and external agencies to support pupil progress and reintegration
  • Act as Lead DSL for Primary pupils

The role includes approximately a 50% teaching commitment alongside leadership responsibilities.

  • Holds QTS/QTLS

  • Is skilled in behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches
  • Can lead, motivate, and support staff effectively
