Job Description Painter & Decorator (Heritage & Modern Buildings) \n Salary: £33,539 per annum \n Location: Cambridge \n Contract: Permanent \n Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm) \n An opportunity to work on some of Cambridge's most impressive buildings. \n Our client is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their established Works team, maintaining and enhancing a unique estate that combines historic architecture with modern facilities. \n This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, and wants to develop their skills working across both heritage and contemporary buildings. \n You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating work across a diverse range of projects, including restoration of historic buildings and refurbishment of modern spaces. \n \n Internal and external decorating to an exceptional standard. \n \n Supporting refurbishment projects using modern decorating methods and coatings. \n \n Completing minor glazing repairs (training available). \n \n Working safely and maintaining high standards of housekeeping. \n \n Collaborating with colleagues, contractors and other trades to deliver projects on time. \n \n About You \n We're looking for someone who has: \n \n \n Proven experience in painting and decorating across a range of property types. \n \n Experience using a variety of decorating products and techniques. \n \n A meticulous eye for detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship. \n \n NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent) or substantial industry experience. \n Heritage or listed building restoration. \n Traditional decorating methods such as limewash or distemper. \n PASMA, IPAF, Working at Height or First Aid qualifications. \n A full UK driving licence. \n Permanent, full-time position with an excellent work-life balance. \n 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. \n Free lunch provided while on site. \n Private healthcare and dental scheme (following probation). \n Pension scheme. \n Employee Assistance Programme. \n Subsidised gym membership. \n Cycle to Work scheme, including e-bikes. \n Staff social events and wellbeing initiatives. \
