We are searching for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and highly respected operation maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and plant equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping essential equipment running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles and plant
  • Diagnosing faults and completing preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring vehicles meet Department of Transport standards
  • Reducing equipment downtime and supporting fleet performance
  • Completing service reports and raising work orders using fleet systems
  • Ordering parts and managing maintenance records digitally
  • Working safely and always following all Health & Safety procedures
What We Are Looking For:
  • City & Guilds qualification in Light & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
  • Proven experience working on commercial vehicles and plant machinery
  • Good computer literacy and experience with fleet management systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to make practical, cost-effective maintenance decisions
  • A strong understanding of safety and environmental responsibilities
