Experienced Greenkeeper

Location: Watford, Bushey & Rickmansworth Area

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 + Overtime

The HireWorks is recruiting experienced Greenkeepers for a range of prestigious grounds maintenance employers across the Watford and Hertfordshire area. We're particularly interested in candidates who take pride in maintaining exceptional playing conditions and have experience working with modern turf machinery.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Daily course set-up and presentation
  • Fine turf maintenance
  • Bunker preparation and repair
  • Irrigation management
  • Turf renovation and aeration programmes
  • Machinery checks and maintenance
  • Assisting with landscaping and improvement projects

Requirements

  • Proven Greenkeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of turf maintenance practices
  • Experience operating professional grounds equipment
  • PA1/PA6 and chainsaw certificates desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
