Your Role
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to ensure pupils with additional needs receive the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Helping children with a range of Special Educational Needs access learning in a positive and engaging way.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and resilience.
- Supporting pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt learning activities and celebrate progress every step of the way.
