We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Grounds Maintenance Technician to guide a small team delivering high-quality grounds services across a variety of client sites. This isn’t a desk job; you’ll be out in the field, setting standards, motivating your team, and making sure every site looks its absolute best.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and organising a small team to deliver daily maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Working alongside your team setting the standard through your own work.
- Maintaining landscapes to a high professional finish, including grass cutting, strimming, edging, and lawn care.
- Hedge cutting, pruning, and weed control.
- Litter picking and general site upkeep.
- Operating machinery, including triple gang mowers.
- Carrying out sports line marking when required.
- Ensuring all work meets safety standards and company expectations.
- Building positive, professional relationships with clients.
- Managing tools, equipment, and daily paperwork accurately.
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Trailer experience (required).
- PA1 & PA6 certifications (required).
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
- Confidence operating triple gang mowers.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
- A proactive, reliable attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
