We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering renewable energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative solar and battery energy storage (BESS) developments, playing a key role in the commercial success of projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, including materials, subcontractors, plant, and equipment
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, including issuing and negotiating subcontract agreements
  • Administer contracts, including managing variations, early warnings, and risk mitigation
  • Produce detailed commercial reports, including monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR)
  • Act as a client-facing representative, maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Ensure robust financial and commercial control across all project stages

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Experience working on solar and/or BESS projects (advantageous)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of contract management and commercial processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment
