Grade 5 Technician Electrical Bias. We are representing a client looking to hire a dynamic and adaptable individual to join their Building Services team. Role Overview:
The role involves a broad range of duties, including electrical-related tasks, compliance testing, fire safety checks, and general facilities maintenance. While electrical experience is essential, particularly in rewiring and basic electrical works, the role is well-suited to someone later in their career or someone seeking a relaxed environment with plenty of room for development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Tasks: Light testing, basic rewiring, fault finding and repairs.
- Compliance & Safety: Conduct compliance and safety checks, including fire safety testing (fire doors, alarms).
- Facilities Maintenance: General facilities work such as minor repairs, painting and plant equipment maintenance.
- Laboratory & Specialist Support: Assistance in laboratory and other specialist facilities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance (Level 2/3 in Electro-technical Technology Installation or similar qualifications preferred).
- Exposure to facilities-related duties or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude with good interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable with some manual work and minor alterations within building spaces.

Salary & Benefits:
