We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established and growing team based in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a long-term role with a competitive salary, regular overtime opportunities, and a varied workload across commercial sites.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial gas systems and associated plant across a range of commercial properties throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. The role includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with current regulations.

  • Service and maintain commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on commercial gas plant.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Carry out gas safety inspections and ensure compliance with current Gas Safe regulations.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota where required.

Requirements:

  • Current Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1 and relevant commercial gas modules).
  • Valid Gas Safe registration.
  • Previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Salary from £50,000 per annum, with higher salaries available depending on experience. Overtime available. Company vehicle and fuel card. Company pension. Holiday entitlement. Ongoing training and career development.
