We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering renewable energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative solar and battery energy storage (BESS) developments, playing a key role in the commercial success of projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, including materials, subcontractors, plant, and equipment
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, including issuing and negotiating subcontract agreements
- Administer contracts, including managing variations, early warnings, and risk mitigation
- Produce detailed commercial reports, including monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR)
- Act as a client-facing representative, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Ensure robust financial and commercial control across all project stages
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience working on solar and/or BESS projects (advantageous)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of contract management and commercial processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment
