The Senior Authorised Person Role: Integral part of a rapidly growing team specialising in the delivery of projects and CDM activities on 11KV installations. Repairs, upgrades, asset management, automation including substation monitoring equipment, Switchgear, RTU replacements, actuators etc. Home based, field work covering the South of the Scottish Southern Electrical network region (Paid from door). Plan and coordinate outages and produce associated safety paperwork for high voltage switching. Complete RAMS, test certificates and reports.
The Successful SAP Engineer: As an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineer, you will have a background in supporting projects from the planning stage through to hands-on site-based activities including relevant administrative work. You MUST hold a valid certification as an 11kv (min) Senior Authorised Person with authorisations to work on the SSEN infrastructure (gained directly with or via a sub-contractor). You will be certified to a level to deal with Permits-to-Work (PTW) and be able to authorise Sanction for test (SFT). A full UK driving License holder.
