Are you an experienced professional with a passion for Electrical products and technical innovation? We are looking for a Product Manager to manage the marketing and our suite of GIS & AIS products. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of introducing a new product range to global markets while ensuring the needs of both current and future customers are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development (NPD): Identify opportunities for product innovation, create Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), and collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to drive new product launches.
  • Product & Market Strategy: Develop and implement marketing plans for UK and global markets. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement to ensure our products remain competitive.
  • Sales & Customer Support: Equip sales teams with technical collateral, presentations, and training. Engage directly with customers, attend global exhibitions, and support technical tenders.
  • Market Positioning & Analysis: Continuously monitor trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to ensure the product range aligns with market needs.

Requirements:

  • A higher-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with MV transmission or distribution networks. Familiarity with primary application switchgear, protection schemes, and related products is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear or Air insulated switchgear product families, protection schemes, or utilities project management/installation.
  • Strong customer focus, proactive and results-driven, with excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

You will be a proactive, results-focused individual with a passion for switchgear technology and a strong understanding of MV transmission or distribution networks. You should have the ability to manage complex projects and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across a matrix organization.
