Manufacturing Engineer

This Global manufacturer with a family feel is recognised as a respected innovator and manufacture within their industry. The development of a new and exciting manufacturing division at their site located near Huddersfield, has created an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity: As they scale production operations, you will be the driving force behind manufacturing excellence through the following duties:- * Introducing new production competencies * Identifying significant cost reductions and streamlining * Lead Projects, Develop and optimize production processes * Focus on quality improvements and robust procedures What You Bring * Use your expertise (Six Sigma/8D) to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement long-term solutions. * Work closely with the Operations Manager, Electrical Engineering team, and Operational Excellence Manager to align production with business goals. * Proven track record with citable projects within a manufacturing environment. * Manufacturing experience * Electrical / mechanical qualifications (degree / Apprenticeship) Working Hours: Mon–Thurs (07:30–16:00), Fri (07:30–12:30) – Early finish every Friday!
