We are seeking a vigilant, confident, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our experienced team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the venue, protecting guests and staff, and supporting the smooth running of operations across the building while complying with the Gambling Act 2005, Licensing Act 2003 and other relevant legislation and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor guest activity and respond to incidents calmly and professionally.
- Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible presence throughout the venue.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints and issues between customers and staff.
- Assist with access control, crowd management, and emergency procedures.
- Liaise with other departments to support guest service and operational needs.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Uphold policy, licensing and regulatory standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential, with previous casino or nighttime economy experience being advantageous.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- A calm, professional, and approachable manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts across a rotation that includes nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- You must be over 18 years of age.
