What is the role all about? As our Weighbridge Operative you’ll be managing the smooth and efficient operation of our weighbridge office, ensuring vehicles are accurately weighed and processed in and out of the site using our computerised weighing system.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers and visitors to the site, providing a welcoming and professional service
- Accurately maintain site records, both manually and using electronic systems
- Carry out a range of general administrative duties to support site operations
- Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to enquiries efficiently and courteously
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently with a range of people
- Excellent administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
