As our Mobile Plant Operative, you'll be operating loading shovels and other mobile plant equipment to manage stockpiles and load customer vehicles safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental and rail operating procedures.
What you will be doing
As our Mobile Plant Operative, you will
- Build, maintain, and manage aggregate stockpiles, segregating products to prevent contamination and ensuring stockpiles are stored safely and efficiently to maximise site capacity, carrying out rotation where required.
- Load customer and company vehicles accurately and efficiently, verifying materials loaded match customer orders and dispatch documentation and comply with vehicle weight limits and transport regulations.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the depot by clearing spillages and keeping operational areas safe and tidy, assisting with routine maintenance and cleaning of plant and site facilities.
- Carry out visual inspections of products and stockpiles, assisting with sampling and quality assurance procedures to ensure products meet customer and company specifications.
