A Deputy Director of Estates position is available at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust . The role involves strategic and operational leadership for the Estates and Facilities function, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for patients and staff. The successful candidate will manage the Estates team, oversee financial management, and contribute to the Trust\’s capital projects and redevelopment plans.

Interviews will be on the 21st July and will be conducted face to face at Chelsea & Westminster, 369 Fulham Road, London, SW10 9NH.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic and professional leadership to the management, development, and efficient utilization of the E&FM services.
  2. Lead strategic and operational management of the E&FM services across the Trust.
  3. Ensure effective delivery of the E&FM functions in accordance with national standards and recognized industry best practices.
  4. Provide safe, secure, and high-quality environments for patients and staff within the Trust’s facilities.
  5. Manage outsourced contracts appropriately.
  6. Maintain a culture within the E&FM team that delivers high-quality, patient-centered support services.

About the Trust:

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon, offering a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. Services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
