Hill Group is looking for a
Trainee Social Value & Community Coordinator to join our Social Value team across our London projects.
In this role you will work closely with the Social Value and Community Managers to ensure social value commitments are realised, maintain customer and resident partnerships, and uphold high social value standards throughout the project life cycle.
You will also pursue a Level4 Apprenticeship qualification in Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support social value delivery across projects in London.
- Facilitate social value projects with identified partners.
- Provide administrative support to the Social Value & Community Managers – e. g., data entry of targets, drafting newsletters & reports.
- Support site teams with resident queries and communication.
- Success Measures
- Delivery of social value in line with the social value delivery plan.
- Effective support for the social value and community managers.
- Good relationships with site teams and local stakeholders.
- Accurate reporting & data capture, with updates in a timely manner.
- Passion for working with people and in communities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Grade C in Maths & English at Level3 for the apprenticeship qualification.
- Time‑management skills – able to prioritise multiple tasks & projects.
- Effective communication – verbal and written.
- Influencing & negotiation skills.
- Ability to set & achieve targets.
- Computer literacy.
- Self‑motivated and flexible – including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to travel regularly across project sites in London and occasionally outside London for team meetings.
- Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.
