Lead the strategy. Grow the team. Drive results. As a Sales Manager at Hill, you’ll be responsible for the performance, presentation, and progression of our developments across the region. From shaping product mix to guiding your sales team, you’ll play a key role in delivering reservation, exchange, and completion targets while ensuring every customer experience is five‑star.
This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership role for someone who’s confident, collaborative and commercially focused. You’ll work closely with colleagues in land, construction, marketing and customer service—helping turn great ideas into high‑performing developments.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach of Sales Executives across live developments
- Shape bespoke sales strategies for each site, aligned with pricing and product mix
- Collaborate with land and development teams on market positioning and design
- Approve pricing, release strategies, commissions, and site budgets
- Represent sales at marketing, planning, and bid meetings
- Oversee estate agent partnerships and ensure high‑quality performance
- Ensure full compliance with AML, consumer code and NHBC standards
- Monitor local market trends and deliver competitor insight
- Track performance against cash flow and sales targets, and report weekly updates
- Act as escalation point for complex customer or legal issues
- Uphold high presentation and safety standards across sales offices and show homes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership experience in residential sales, ideally new homes
- Proven success in developing high‑performing sales teams
- Commercial awareness and hands‑on pricing and release planning experience
- Skilled in CRM systems, reporting and data‑led forecasting
- Confident communicator and stakeholder manager
- Knowledge of AML and consumer code compliance
- Experience with commercial sales or lettings (desirable)
- Collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused
