Salary: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.
Job Purpose: To participate in the policy processes of the Council with a particular focus on developing the policies and performance outcomes of the Highland Housing Register and related housing and homelessness policies.
Requirements:
- Practical and relevant experience of Housing service delivery and/or housing policy development.
- Detailed knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation.
- Detailed knowledge of current housing issues.
- Good level of general education, preferably Degree in relevant subject area and/or Professional/Technical Qualification (Chartered Institute of Housing/HNC) or equivalent.
- A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration would be given to the post holder making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
