Ross’s Garage Ltd is recruiting Control Room Operators to join its expanding operations team based at Culloden Moor, Inverness. This role suits someone who is calm under pressure, organised, and comfortable coordinating people and vehicles in a fast moving environment.
The role
- You will work within the company’s control room supporting day to day roadside recovery operations across the North of Scotland.
- You will liaise with customers, recovery clubs and recovery technicians to coordinate call outs and responses.
- You will plan and manage routes to ensure efficient deployment of vehicles and staff.
- You will handle incoming calls and information accurately and professionally.
- You will carry out general office duties, including use of Microsoft Office and bespoke control room software, with full training provided.
- You will work as part of a close team to keep services running smoothly at all times.
Working pattern
- The role operates on a rota covering day shifts, back shifts and weekends.
- Shift patterns are not negotiable due to the nature of the service.
- The role is based at the main control room at Culloden Moor.
- Own transport is required as there is no public transport available to the site.
