The Highland & Western Isles Valuation Joint Board is an independent public authority established by The Valuation Joint Boards (Scotland) Order 1995.

Location: Moray House, 16-18 Bank Street, Inverness, IV1 1QY.

Salary: £26,499.20 – £30,739.80 (rising to £34,125.00 on TC3 grade)

Role Overview

You will principally be required to survey, measure and collate property information for the purposes of council tax and rating valuation.

Responsibilities
  • You will survey, measure and collate property information for council tax and rating valuation.
  • You will travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within the Highland area to meet operational requirements.
  • You will undertake a basic Disclosure check.
Qualifications and skills

You will have experience in the survey and measurement of buildings and land. Familiarity with working with the public will be an advantage. Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills are essential.
