Our client are specialists in the design and production of structural steel framed buildings, from industrial sheds to schools and hotels. Due to continued success and progression within the company, the client are now seeking a Chartered Engineer to join the team. A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in structural steelwork design, including relevant design codes and software
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and delegating work when needed
  • Confident communicator who can work easily with clients, contractors, architects and other stakeholders
  • Excellent technical and design skills, with the ability to work closely within an in-house design team and see projects through from start to finish
  • A good commercial awareness, especially when it comes to project costs and financial considerations
