Job Title: Health & Safety Officer Location: West London Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 Company Overview: A leading structural steel fabricator is seeking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join its team. Renowned for delivering complex and high-value projects across UK,as the company continues to grow and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across its operations. Role Overview: The Health & Safety Officer will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across both the fabrication facility and site-based activities. This individual will ensure the business remains compliant with legislation, implements best practices, and supports operational teams through proactive and practical safety leadership. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and enforcing compliance with current health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures. Conducting site and workshop inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Supporting the development and implementation of RAMS, method statements, and safe systems of work. Delivering safety briefings, toolbox talks, and internal training sessions. Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken. Maintaining accurate records of health and safety activities, audits, and training. Liaising with internal teams, clients, and external agencies on all H&S matters. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the overall promotion of a safety-first culture.
