A leading civil engineering contractor is currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of civils, piling and groundwork packages across projects in the Glasgow area.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and dimensional control duties on site
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Support QA/QC processes, inspections and site documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities
- Assist with permits, RAMS and temporary works procedures
- Maintain accurate records and as-built information
- Liaise with site management, engineers and project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, piling or groundworks
- Strong surveying and setting out capability using GPS/Total Station equipment
- Experience working on infrastructure, heavy civils or geotechnical projects
- Background working with Tier 1 contractors highly desirable
- CSCS card essential
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification preferred
