Responsibilities

  • Managing valuations, variations, and applications for payment
  • Preparing commercial reports, forecasts, and CVRs
  • Supporting procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management
  • Maintaining strong cost control and commercial governance
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and project stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction (steel experience beneficial)
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach

What to expect

  • First Month: You’ll get involved in live projects, reviewing commercial data, visiting sites, and gaining a clear understanding of project delivery from fabrication through to installation.
  • 3 Months: You’ll take ownership of key commercial workstreams, run meetings, and build strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • 6 Months: You’ll independently manage the commercial lifecycle of project packages and help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • 12 Months: You’ll be a trusted commercial lead, helping drive strong commercial performance and continuous improvement across projects.
