We are working with a well-established specialist contractor delivering structural steel, balconies, balustrades, staircases, canopies, and secondary steelwork packages to leading main contractors across the UK. Now backed by one of Europe's leading international contractors, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth, offering excellent long-term career opportunities within a growing group.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their commercial team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience pricing projects within the architectural metalwork or structural steel sector
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction
- Organised, ambitious, and able to work to deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Previous estimating experience is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting competitive estimates and tenders
- Reviewing drawings and project specifications
- Managing client expectations and tender deadlines
- Attending pre-contract meetings where required
- Supporting project handovers to the delivery team
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
