Assistant Document Controller – Major Public Sector Project

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Full-time, on-site (5 days/week)

Are you highly organised with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail? We\’re looking for an Assistant Document Controller to support the delivery of a large-scale, long-term public sector building project based in Huntingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly professional project team and develop your career in document and information management, with exposure to key processes on a high-security site.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Support the Information Controller in managing all project-related documentation throughout the lifecycle of the build

  • Ensure hard copies of project documentation are maintained, stored, and updated in line with project standards

  • Work within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to help with document tracking, version control, and secure access

  • Help validate that all documentation is accurate, complete, and formatted consistently

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project teams to ensure smooth flow of documentation and approvals

What you\’ll bring:

  • Strong administrative or document control experience, ideally within construction or engineering

  • Confident IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office

  • Experience using document management platforms (e.g. Asite, Viewpoint, Aconex) is a plus

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability

  • A proactive, reliable attitude and ability to work independently on-site

Security Clearance Requirements:

This role requires a minimum level of UK security clearance, and may require higher levels of National Security Vetting. Due to this, UK residency is required, and dual/multiple nationalities must be declared. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements may be unable to proceed.
