We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team at Michelin-starred HIDE. HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight. Spread over three floors, two light‑filled dining rooms are set around a breathtaking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sizeable à la carte menu showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers and suppliers from across the UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors. Everything is made in‑house wherever possible, from charcuterie and bread to jams, juices and pickles.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking dishes within your speciality
  • Supporting the Head Chef to develop new dishes for the menu
  • Training the junior chefs working with you
  • Stock control and waste management
  • Ensuring the brigade follows H&S regulations
  • Deputising for the Head Chef to manage the brigade
  • Demonstrating a respectful attitude and responding professionally to the demands of the management team
