We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reception Manager to join Michelin* HIDE restaurant. HIDE is an urban oasis hidden among the city, featuring three floors, two dining rooms, a central staircase, and views over Green Park. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a sizeable a‑la‑carte menu sourced from local small farmers and a tasting menu with wine flights on both floors. Michelin* was awarded within the first year. The role requires a full‑time, hourly employee with immediate start. Part‑time applications will not be considered. Shifts include breakfast, double, and closing, bank holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests and serving as first point of contact
  • Ensuring a pleasant welcome and fond farewell for all guests
  • Managing cloakroom service
  • Seating guests and informing management of any requirements
  • Leading and supporting the reception team during service
  • Managing rota planning and team organisation
  • Training and mentoring junior reception team members
  • Flexibility in working days and hours, availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Using SevenRooms to maximise restaurant capacity
  • Printing menu and table plans
  • Supporting the restaurant team to turn tables efficiently
  • Reporting and resolving any operational issues with the relevant manager
