We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a busy, professional, and friendly workshop team based in Greenford. This is an excellent long-term opportunity offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment. This role would suit a skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on plant machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
- Complete inspections and identify potential issues
- Use diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectively
- Repair and replace components
- Order parts and materials as required
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Plant Fitter
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- City Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Time-served technicians will also be considered
