The Heyford Hotel, Heyford Park, Bicester is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to join the team. The Heyford is a busy hospitality venue with a boutique hotel, restaurant, bar and bowling all under one roof, so no two days are quite the same.

We are looking for someone confident, organised and hands-on, with the experience to lead the kitchen team and keep standards high across breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading and supporting the team, planning and writing menus, maintaining food quality, managing stock, controlling waste and ensuring service runs smoothly.

You will also be responsible for making sure food hygiene, health and safety, COSHH and HACCP procedures are followed at all times, while keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant.

The ideal person will have experience in a busy kitchen, ideally within a hotel or multi-outlet hospitality environment. You will need to be calm under pressure, able to work at pace without compromising standards and confident adapting dishes for dietary requirements when needed.

This role would suit someone with a can-do attitude who leads by example, takes pride in their work and is confident managing both people and standards. Salary is £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
